Our design makes flattening large size pieces of wood a breeze. You can easily raise and lower the router to accommodate multiple-sized projects without the time-consuming readjusting or calibrating of other flattening methods. And with the locks on the carriage, you don’t break your back leaning over the table the whole time you’re flattening.

Comparison descriptions:

PRO MODEL - has beefier gantry rails and a 4” dust port, it also fits the Festool 2200.  Recommended for serious woodworkers needing the utmost rigidity. Incredibly rigid with the 5' gantry, but we also have 6' and 7' crossbars rails for those needing even more width.

STANDARD MODEL - this is our most popular model with height adjustment and 2.5” dust collection. Widths of 4' and 5' are available.

ACRYLIC MODEL - this lower cost option provides see-through visibility.  Fits pieces up to about 2.5" thick without stacking strips of wood under the rails to fit even thicker work pieces.

4' and 6' table mount rails are pinned on the ends, making it easy to add more length to your sled by adding more rails.

8’ table rails (actual length 7’ 9”) are the most common length ordered for those wanting the ease of one-piece rails. However, they are not pinned on the ends.  When ordering an 8’ table length these will be included.

They include pre-drilled holes to fit the most common routers (other routers are easy to drill holes for), locking handle, and shaft collars for the table rails so you can lock any axis.

This is a very rigid router jig that will help make your woodworking projects without the sniping or narrow width limitations of a planer. Mount the sled to any flat and level work surface. When you’re done with your project, it comes apart and stores compactly. Great for small garage workshops or bigger shops needing to flatten wider than their large planers can handle.

Using a router sled is typically a process that produces a lot of shavings and turns your shop into a huge mess, but not with our router jig. Our 2.5" dust collection port (4” on the pro version) and brushes make clean-up quick and simple, giving you more time to work on your projects and less time cleaning the shop.

Gantry length is the length of the rails. The actual cutting width is about 10" less due to the size of the carriages and varies depending on the size of the cutter.

With our system you can flatten any length of table. Our X-direction rails that mount to your work surface are modular, connecting end to end, so if you need to flatten something longer you can just add more rails. The table rails come in multiple pieces in 4’ and 6’ segments that pin together end to end to get to whatever length you need.  For example, if you order a 4x10’ setup, you’ll get two 4’ gantry rails and two 4’ table rails and two 6’ table rails to get you to the 10’.

The "No Rails" version does not include gantry or table rails.  It includes: one locking bearing (the rest of the bearings are not supplied), two height adjusting ends, the router plate, and fasteners to attach the bearings. This fits the two different versions of 20mm rails seen in the photos.

The complete (with rails) versions include: height adjusting uprights, router carriage, brushes, X direction rails, Y direction rails, and bearings.

Does not include: table, trailer, or other work surface, router, or router bits.
